The Lake Erie Hurricanes are the coolest baseball franchise in Medina County, Ohio. The team, created by current owner Alex Scheufler on June 3, 2009 will be playing the Northern Ohio Water Baseball League. The team's main goal this season is to provide entertainmet for fans. With this goal in mind, the Hurricanes also want to focus on saving their fans money, this is why you do not need to buy a ticket to enter the stadium. The Hurricanes know that without the fans, there would be no team, so we want to make all our fans feel like royalty, which they are to the players. We do not have a ticket price, and we are devoted to being the most fan-friendly team in the league. Keep all this in mind, and enjoy the inaugural season of Lake Erie Hurricanes baseball!

Hurricane Warning!

The Hurricanes expect to open their season against the Medina Sharks sometime within the next week. That is the week of July 5, 2009. The team has said that it could start as early as Sunday July 5, 2009.
